Whisk

Server

AI without the guesswork.

Deterministic + small-model tools. Multi-language day one. Same input, same output, every time.

Spell check

Powered by Hunspell dictionaries — the same tech behind LibreOffice, Firefox, and Thunderbird.
Privacy mode is default — your text is checked entirely inside your browser (Python + Hunspell running locally), never sent to our servers. Toggle to Server mode if you want the full 49-language coverage or need to skip the ~13 MB one-time runtime download. Save for offline (once) makes Privacy mode work with no internet at all.
Long-form ready. Paste a 100-page document (up to 500,000 characters) — Whisk processes the whole thing in seconds, deterministically. No AI truncation, no context-window limit.

Ths is a smple sentnce with a few misspeled wrds, and and a duplicate.

Ask (verified knowledge)

Chatbot experience, zero AI. Every fact comes from the Whisk Encyclopedia's source-attributed knowledge graph; every sentence is derived — not generated. No hallucinations. If the encyclopedia doesn't have it, Whisk says so rather than making it up.
A dedicated Whisk Ask experience with sample queries and a mind map lives at /whisk/ask/.

More text tools (v0.7.2 · non-LLM · deterministic)

Translate, paraphrase, spot clichés, check terminology consistency, disambiguate homographs, detect languages — all on our VPS, no third-party API. If DeepL / Google / Grammarly disappear tomorrow, none of this stops working.
